  4. Das Hochladen vollständiger Anweisungen/Schaltpläne oder BIOS-Dateien / Firmware (oder das Verlinken auf andere Websites mit solchen Dateien) ist STRENG VERBOTEN. Sie können nur den kleinen Teil der Anweisung/Schaltplans oder den Link zur BIOS-Datei in UNVERIFIZIERTE BIOS-DATEIEN platzieren, der die Diagnose und Reparatur für den Themenautor vereinfacht. Sie können nicht mehr als eine vollständige Seite mit Anweisungen/Schaltplänen pro einzelnem Thema platzieren. Die Datei darf keine sichtbaren Wasserzeichen, "vertraulichen" Markierungen, E-Mail-Adressen usw. enthalten.
  5. Pro Thema darf nur eine fehlerhafte Maschine beschrieben werden. Für jede nächste Maschine sollten Sie ein neues Thema öffnen.
  6. Das Anfordern von Schaltplänen, Boardview, MB-Fotos, BIOS-Dateien oder Servicehandbüchern ist STRENG VERBOTEN. Wenn Sie irgendwelche von denen fragen wollen, sollten Sie ein neues Thema in DOKUMENTATION UND BIOS/EFI ANFRAGE Sub-Forum öffnen.

Hello Everyone,
I have HP laptop with MOBO LA-E801P REV. 2.0 and is not working (no lights - nothing).
Without schematics is hard to investigate this one. Could not find one anywhere.
I hope that someone more experienced can help me to find what is the the problem here.
5V/3.3V are not present. Resistance on all coils is not indicating any short circuits. 19V goes to first Mosfet but there is no voltage coming out . I have removed and measured Mosfet and no problem with this one. After soldering back to motherboard resistance measure was correct on drain site (input - 237KΩ) but I am getting only 7Ω on source site (output). I have used thermal camera and I can see PQA1 flashing. Getting and loosing power ?
Any advice will be very appreciated.

Hello!

Measure the resistances on all coils in reference to pin 8 of transistor PQB12.

No, it indicates the fault on chip PQA1.

Remove the chip PQA1 from the board and perform the following measurements:
- Measure the resistance to ground on pin 8 of transistor PQB12.
- Measure the resistance to ground on coil PLA1.

Hi Matic,
PQA1 removed and resistance values were measured:
4,6Mohm - Measure the resistance to ground on pin 8 of transistor PQB12.
6,17ohm - Measure the resistance to ground on coil PLA1.
I have not seen schematic for this board. Can you help me to identify what is PQA1 ?
Reading on IC is K4 AUD (2T0316). I will have to buy new one.

Please, post a clear picture with visible markings on chip PQA1.

You can connect the power supply to the board (without PQA1) and check, if 19V is present on pin 8 of transistor PQB12.

Yes. I can confirm that 19V is present on pin 8 of transistor PQB12.
3.3V on power switch connector is present too.

This chip is actually dual transistor PE642DT.
