These boards use several synchronous buck regulators for smaller switching supplies for let's say SoC ram and whatnot.
Sometimes these short to ground.
For example U5.

Before replacing it, remove U5 and check the resistance on the inductor next to U5. If the resistance is too low after U5 is removed from the circuit, something else may also be damaged. In my case it was all fine the NAS was repaired
