Dostałem do naprawy kieszeń Seagate FreeAgent po upadku. Kieszeń miała wyrwane gniazdo USB, a po przylutowaniu okazało się, iż dysk jest wykrywany przez komputer, ale windows odnajduje na nim partycję 32MB. Podpinałem go przez przelotkę USB, bezpośrednio do płyty głównej - bez zmian. Czy jest jakaś opcja naprawy tego problemu aby nie utracić danych?

Dyski z serii 7200.11 miały problemy z firmware'ami. Przypadek opisany na licznych forach dyskusyjnych. Być może w tym tkwi problem.

1. Sprawdź ustawienia zworek na dysku czy nie ograniczają pojemności.
2. Spróbuj użyć narzędzia HDD Capacity Restore Tool - dysk podłączony bezpośrednio pod SATA.

Naprawiałem tym sposobem te dyski - ale zazwyczaj widzą całą powierzchnię dysku tylko nic nie da się odczytać, albo dysk się instaluje i nic na nim nie widać. No ale ok - idę za sugestią i zaraz spróbuję.

Twoja usterka nie ma nic wspólnego ze standardową usterką tych dysków.
