Mam laptopa HP Omen 16-WD0660NW na płycie LA-M787P - płyta główna uszkodzona nie do naprawy. Zakupiłem "identyczną" sprawną płytę ale z HP Victus.
Płytę z Victus-a po kilku modyfikacjach (przelutowanie gniazda klawiatury i podświetlenia klawiatury + drobnica) zamontowałem w obudowie Omena. Generalnie wszystko działa. Pytanie moje jest takie czy mogę "bezkarnie" przelutować kostkę z biosem z uszkodzonej płyty z Omena (po wyczyszczeniu ME Region) do płyty z Victusa. Lepiej wygląda przy starcie systemu jak się odpala logo Omena w obudowie Omena niż Victus w Omenie :).

Czy taka przekładka zadziała obie płyty z tego co wiem mają aktywną opcję Boot Guard (5). Czy tutaj nie będzie problemu ?
Macie może jakieś doświadczenia w tej materii ?

Hello!

First, read both BIOS chips with a programmer and check the BIOS ID (BID) number, length and version of the ME-region of both dumps.

Bios z Omen: BID08BA8; ME Version: 16.1.32.2418
Bios z Victus: BID08BBD; ME Version: 16.1.38.2676

Robiłem miks tych biosów czyli z Victus-a brałem: ME Sub Partition i wstawiałem do biosa Omena. Płyta odpalała normalnie.
Zgłaszał się normalnie bios Omena jedynie był problem z licencją cyfrową Win11. I ten temat chciałbym poprawić.

Try to find the machine's serial number and Windows key in the old (backup) Omen BIOS: ***click***
Check that both keys match your new (modified) BIOS.
