Trafił do mnie Lenovo ideapad Gaming 3 NM-C871 z niską rezystencją na lini 3V ok 8Ω, powodem był wypalony PU2960, czyli MP2949A(Wyraźnie upalona 1 i 2n. "Phase 4, 5, current sense input. Float CS of the unused phase."). Za co jest odpowiedzialny ten kontroler na tej płycie i na co powinienem zwrócić uwagę przy jego wymianie??

According to the datasheet these two inputs may be left floating (unconnected) in case the phases 4 and 5 are not used on the project with this chip.
But on this motherboard both phases are used and also the current sense input pins 1, 2 are connected to the current sense outputs of the gate driver chips (PU3004, PU3102) responsible for these two phases.

Remove this chip from the board, set your multimeter to the diode test mode and measure the voltage drops to ground on pads 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 on the place of chip PU2960.

1706 to chyba podróbka , programator go nie widzi, dlatego poprosiłem o foto.
Płyta po jego wlutowaniu nie ma VSA i nie ma dostępnego adresu dostępu po dokonaniu skanowania.
Układ jest programowalny przez PMbus i nawet nowy jest preprogramowany.
Najpewniejszy jest dawca z takiej samej płyty w tej samej obsadzie.

Takie płyty, są praktycznie nie dostępne, a o programowaniu przez PMbus to praktycznie słyszę pierwszy raz, i oczywiście nie mam pojęcia jak to zrobić.
Czyli w tym wypadku, jak nie uda mi się dostać płyty dawcy z inną usterką, to naprawa jest nie możliwa.
W sprawie układu, skontaktuję się ze sprzedawcą, czy już stosowali tego typu układy w naprawach (bo oprócz sprzedawcy, jest to również serwis).
Czyli w tym wypadku, jak nie uda mi się dostać płyty dawcy z inną usterką, to naprawa jest nie możliwa.

If you get a reading of 2.2V, solder a functional chip PU2960 and test the board.
Wymieniłem PU3102, test diody pokazał na n.1,2,3,4,5 PU2960 spadek 1V (nie jak poprzednio 2,2V)
Pobór prądu po podłączeniu zasilacza wynosi 0,22A i brak reakcji na przycisk power.

I tu niestety autor postu miał rację, hm... programowalna przetwornica, do czego to doszło.
Jeśli ktoś, dysponował by układem z podobnej płyty, (PU2960, czyli MP2949A )to proszę o kontakt na prywatne wiadomości.
