- Topic title should contain: the device's manufacturer, full model and the brief description of problem.
- Topic message should contain: the PCB marking code (required in case of hardware repairs), an extended description of problem, things you have checked/replaced/measured, your conclusions and the question. If you are not able to find the PCB marking code, please read THIS TOPIC. If you still cannot locate the PCB markings, please upload a clean, both-side photos of the mainboard - it is required to remove any films, modules or brackets possibly covering these markings.
- Before posting a new topic please read all topics in TRAININGS subforum and make a preliminary diagnostic based on the content of those trainings.
- Uploading of any complete schematics, BIOS / firmware files or any other kind of documentation, or linking to 3rd party websites with such files, is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. You can only upload the small portion of documentation or, link to BIOS file on UNVERIFIED BIOS FILES subforum, which simplifies the diagnostics/repair. You are not allowed to upload more then one complete page of instruction/schematic per single topic. The file you upload must not contain any watermarks, "confidential" markings, links or email addresses and cannot be password-protected.
- It is only permitted to describe one faulty device per single topic - you should always open a new topic for each subsequent device.
- Requesting of the full schematics, BoardView files, BIOS files or any other kind of documentation is NOT ALLOWED in this subforum. If you need to ask for any of these, you should open a new topic in DOCUMENTATION/BIOS REQUEST subforum.

When PQ155 is desoldered out of the board on pin 4 there is still 19.5V

PQ157:
pin 1 19V
pin 2 0V
pin 3 0V (GND)
After desoldering resistor PR261 (resistor alone has 500k Ohms) there is 1.9V for a little moment (like a second or something)

adysowski wrote:When PQ155 is desoldered out of the board on pin 4 there is still 19.5VYes, because the PQ157 is not open, but you have exactly the same voltages on pins 1 and 8 of this transistor, which should not be.
Because there is a forward-biased body diode inside the transistor and additional external diode the voltages on pin 1 and pin 8 should differ for ~0.2V at least. So the transistor PQ155 or diode PD110 must be damaged based on your measurements. Please, check them.
Okay guys - diode PD110 seems to be okay - in diode mode i get 0.494V measurement (voltage drop diode), reversed polarity I get OL. PQ155 when desoldered doesnt have any shorts (pin 1-3 bridged, pin 4, pin 5-8 bridged). I resoldered PU300 IC once again (:D) and found that PU101 is BURNT! I have looked deeply into schematics - it seems that it is RT9069-33GB, can i replace it with some other regulators? I have some boards for parts - 2x LA-C551P, LA7912-P, maybe I can find some similar IC to PU101? I have schematics to them
I can upload them
Thanks for helping
Machine - these measurements were taken at original Apple PD 100W power supply USB-C.
PU101 when desoldered looks like this:
pin 1 - 19.8V
pin 2 - 0V (GND)
pin 3 - 0V
pin 4 - 9.7V
pin 5 - 0.04V

This chip is available on Allegro (item number: 13775539492).
Measure the resistance to ground on pad 5 on the place of chip PU101.

This measurement was not correct - there is 3.31V :
PQ123:
pin 1: 3.31V
pin 2: 0.58V
pin 3: 3.31V
PU301:
pin 1: 3.31V
pin 2: 0.04V
pin 3: 0V
pin 4: 0V
pin 5: 3.31V
Also, I desoldered PR261 - 500kOhm, MOSFET PQ155 is getting 0.3V on Gate and is opening, because PQ153 gets 1.8V on gate and is getting 20V. I dont know what to do next - RTC Battery is disconnected
