Asus X555LD REV 3.3 motherboard does not see hdd and odd.

It came in very bad condition. They soldered the hdd board without a socket. After repairing the lcd data and short circuit problem, we noticed that the hdd and odd part did not work either. They glued the hinges, I can't turn the back of the motherboard. I stretched a little and cleaned the solder of the hdd partition. If the HDD works from the Odd section, the process will be complete.





I short-circuited the green line, 3v occurred, but it didn't work. Thanks in advance.

Do not ever do that again - this way you may damage the APU hybrid.
The correct voltage on jumper SL5102 is 0V, so there is nothing wrong here.

Set your multimeter to the diode test mode and measure the following voltage drops to ground:
- On pin 2 of capacitors CX5103, CX5104, CX5111, CX5112.
- On points A, B, C, D of HDD board (with the HDD board connected to the motherboard).

I want it to work with Caddy from the dvd compartment without commissioning this card. There is no hdd card socket on the back, the hinge parts are problematic, and the customer does not want to cover many costs. We solve the sound problem with a usb sound card.

If you want to repair this machine without the small HDD board the sound and additional USB port on the small IO board will also not work.
The replacement connectors are available, so you can buy one and repair a small HDD board.

CX5112 and CX5111 = 49K / CX5103 and CX5104 = 47K

You entered the values without the units, so I don't know what exactly you measured, but it doesn't seems to be the voltage drops as suggested.

Possible.

I think it's much easier and faster to reflash the BIOS chip with another dump compared to wasted time spent on repairing the old one.
There are many BIOS dumps for this board available on the our forum, some of them are verified working.

Thanks for the replies. Fees were a problem and I suggested the customer to use it with a live system from usb.
