Matryca Innolux N156hga-eab - brak podświetlenia

Witam serdecznie,
Proszę o poradę w sprawie matrycy od laptopa jak w temacie.
Jest obraz, brak podświetlania. Na innej matrycy wszystko działa.
W załączeniu zdjęcia elektroniki matrycy.

Measure the voltages to ground on both pins of diode D4.
If there is 0V, measure the resistances to ground on both pins of this diode.

The topic is related to one matrix, not two.
On both pictures is the same matrix, one picture is from the left side, another from right side of the board.
The exact model with revision is visible on the first picture.

Hello, there is 7.5V on one side of the D4 diode and 32V on the other.

Podpowiedzcie proszę jak sprawdzić, czy nie są uszkodzone diody od podświetlenia? Można podłączyć się gdzieś do elektroniki matrycy i sprawdzić podświetlenie jak w tv?
Ktoś pomoże?

Use a "Backlight LED tester" to test the backlight LED strips. It's available on Allegro.


Disconnect the backlight FFC cable from the board and connect it as marked on the following picture. There are five LED strips inside your matrix, so test each of them individually. Read the voltage drop from the tester of each of the five strips. The voltage drops should be the same.

Ja do tego używam zwykłego miernika w trybie testu diody. Puszcza stosunkowo mały prąd i max 3V. Diody się włączają (tylko w odpowiedniej polaryzacji)

Are you sure?
There are multiple LEDs connected in series of each strip and you can't do anything with a regular meter.

Po przetestowaniu testerem od podswietlenia upalił mi się układ CM509A. Po wlutowaniu nowego ten sam efekt, jest treść na matrycy, jednak podświetlenia brak. Testerem tylko raz mi się udało podświetlenie uruchomić, jednak nie z tej rozpiski pinów od matic. Wg. tej rozpiski podświetlenie nie działało. Coś mogę jeszcze zrobić, czy matryca na śmieci?

As suggested in post #7 you should test the LED strips with the backlight FFC cable disconnected from the board.
Repeat the tests with the FFC cable disconnected.

Kabel FFC to jest ten flex, który kolega opisał mi wyprowadzenia? Jeśli tak, to faktycznie go nie odlutowałem przy podłączeniu testera.

It must be disconnected from the board before connecting the tester, otherwise the CM509 chip will fail as you already noticed.

U mnie dwa pierwsze piny od lewej nie są w żaden sposób podłączone do fleksa. Są tylko wyprowadzone na fleksie dwa piny, które z niczym się nie łączą, za wyjątkiem pinu na płytce pcb. To tak ma być?

Please, post a clear picture of the highlighted area of the board with the flex cable lifted.

Układy CM509A są stosunkowo awaryjne. Często występuje dziwny efekt braku podświetlenia na zasilaczu przy normalnie działającym podświetleniu na baterii. Sugerował bym wlutować układ MP3388 (mark 3388DR), jest zgodny z CM509A i dużo stabilniejszy. Może to rozwiąże problem.

Sprawdziłem testerem ledy, raz świecą a raz nie świecą, wydaje mi się, że jest to problem z flexem. Czy jest ten flex wymienialny? I mam jeszcze pytanie, czy bez podłączonego flexa do pcb zasilanie do podświetlenia wystartuje?

This flex cable is unfortunately not replaceable, because the backlight LEDs are usually soldered directly to this flex (for example as on the following picture).

It's also possible the LEDs on this flex are at the end of their lives. If you want, you can disassemble the matrix and test each LED separately.

Depending on the controller chip (in this case CM509). The datasheet for this chip is not available, so I don't know.
In some cases the step-up DC/DC converter is workings if the backlight LEDs are in open circuit, in some other cases the step-up DC/DC converter starts only for a short time and than the controller chip detects irregularity and shuts it down for protection.
When the DC/DC converter is turned off you should measure the power supply voltage (around 19V) on the cathode (negative pin) of diode D4.
