HP ProDesk 400 G2 Desktop Mini PC - brak zasilania, zwarte tranzystory i układ

Zakupiłem dwa używane i POCZĄTKOWO sprawne HP ProDesk 400 Mini G2.
Zajmijmy się pierwszym choć oba mają podobne symptomy.

Konfigurując urządzenie, po którymś wyłączeniu po prostu nie włączyło się - używam oryginalnego zasilacz.
Kilka tranzystorów MOSFET (RA14 N-Channel 30 V (D-S) - SiRA14DP , RA18 SiRA18DP - N-Channel 30 V (D-S) ) jest zwartych (po obu stronach płyty).
Kość bios WINBOND nie jest zwarta.

Znalazłem zwarcie do masy na układzie RICHTEK RT6575A/BDual-Channel Synchronous DC-DC Step-Down Controller with 5V/3.3V LDOs (GND <-> UGATE2... BOOT2, PHASE2) - uszkodzony.
Po wsadzeniu kabla od zasilania dioda LED na płycie głównej na chwile mignie i gaśnie.

Zwarcie na MOSFET (źródło - GND):
SIDE A
1 0,5Ohm
3 24,4Ohm
4 0,3Ohm





SIDE B
1 0,6Ohm
2 0,5Ohm
3 0,5Ohm
4 26,6Ohm

Do you know how the the output power switching transistors in the DC/DC converters are connected?
If so, than you should know that these measurements are completely normal. I suggest you to read the training department of the forum.


Measure the voltages to ground on coils PL4, PL5.
If there are 0V, measure the voltages to ground on pins 3, 6, 7, 9, 12, 13, 17, 20 of Richtek chip RT6575.
Do not connect the power supply to the board with the Richtek chip removed from the board.

So I soldered Richtek chip from other Mini PC HP 400

Voltages to ground on coils PL4, PL5 - 0V
If there are 0V, measure the voltages to ground on pins 3, 6, 7, 9, 12, 13, 17, 20 of Richtek chip RT6575 - Only on PIN17 (BOOT1) I see 3.4V, other have 0V.

Do not connect the power supply to the board with the Richtek chip removed from the board - little to late :/

Nie ma takiej opcji - albo źle liczysz piny, albo mierzysz zupełnie co innego. Jedyny scenariusz, gdzie przy braku zasilania RT6575 (pin 12 - VIN) pojawiłoby się napięcie na pinie 17 (BOOT1), to częściowo uszkodzony tranzystor PQ25 i jednocześnie zwarty kondensator bootstrap - a taka konfiguracja jest mniej prawdopodobna, niż wygrana w totolotka. Zamieść wyraźne zdjęcie zamontowanego RT6575.

Masz rację. Kropka układu jest w inym rogu niż w datasheet (układ o 90 stopni przekręcony w datasheet)... Mój błąd.
Tak więc to PIN12 (VIN) ma 3.4V.
3, 6, 7, 9, 12, 13, 17, 20 mają 0V

Wygląda na uszkodzony układ (sprawdziłem go wcześniej czy ma zwarcie jakiegokolwiek pinu do jego GND i nie miał, teraz gdy jest założony też nie ma)

Measure the voltages to ground on both pins of highlighted resistor.

Measure the voltages to ground on pins 1, 4, 8 of transistor PQ12 (it's located near the DC socket).

Measure the voltage on capacitor PC25 (it's located under the Richtek chip - on another side of the board).

Measure the resistance between point "A" and pin 12 of Richtek chip.

Between PIN12 and makred dot-pad is 23.3k Ohm (without power supply ofc)

Thoroughly clean the flux residues around the highlighted resistor and post a clear picture with visible copper traces on this resistor.
Is this resistor good (its value should be 2,2Ω)?

One moment, I desolder 2R2 resistor and then will measure

I've changed that resistor and we have positive result! All voltages are here
