 [ROZWIĄZANY] HP 440 G4 (MB: DA0X81MB6E0 REV E) not turning on

  4. Nie jest dozwolone umieszczanie załączników w postaci kompletnych dokumentacji, a także jakichkolwiek wsadów BIOS / firmware (do tego służy dział PLIKI BIOS DO WERYFIKACJI). Dozwolone jest wyłącznie umieszczenie fragmentu dokumentacji, który ułatwi autorowi diagnostykę/naprawę sprzętu z wątku. W jednym poście można zamieścić nie więcej, niż jedną stronę instrukcji/schematu. Plik nie może posiadać widocznych znaków wodnych, napisów "confidential", adresów email etc.
  5. Nie jest dozwolone zamieszczanie linków do plików, znajdujących się na innych stronach internetowych.
  6. Nie jest dozwolone zakładanie tematu, który opisuje usterkę więcej niż jednego sprzętu. W takich przypadkach należy utworzyć osobne wątki dla każdego sprzętu.
  7. Nie jest dozwolone pisanie tematu lub postu, mającego charakter zapytania o schemat, boardview, zdjęcia płyty, wsad BIOS lub instrukcję serwisową. Do takich zapytań służy dział ZAPYTANIA O DOKUMENTACJE/BIOS.

Hello,

the board does not turn on .
when I plug the power adapter the white LED on the charging port turn on for just 3 seconds then off. at the same time an Orange LED inside the charging port blinks 3 times .
when I press the power button there is no reaction at all . the voltage on power switch is 2.1v .
3.3v on PL37 is ok
5v on PL34 is ok
1.8 v on PL28 is ok
there is no voltage on the rest of the coils.

power consumption when the white led is on 49 mA and when it is off 19 mA

could you please help me?

Hello!

Measure the voltages to ground on pins 1, 15, 38, 39, 40, 42, 58, 64, 68, 69, 74, 78, 81, 85, 106, 110, 127 of KBC chip, when the LED on charging port is turned off.

Measure the voltages to ground on pins 4, 73 of KBC chip in the following cases:
a) Power button released.
b) Power button pressed.

I had found a bad track.
Now the laptop is turning on but no picture.
I have tried different BIOS bin fils but none of them solved the problem.

According to your picture it seems there are spill residues on the board.
Clean all spill residues and measure the voltages to ground on all coils, when the laptop is turned on.

PL17=1.04v
PL18=0v resistance to ground =14Ω
PL19=0V resistance to ground=11Ω
PL14=0.94V
Pl15=1v
PL30=1.2V
PL37=3.3v
PL34=5v

Have you cleaned the spill residues?
If there are corroded components, replace them.

If you do that, measure the voltages to ground on pins 9, 12, 13, 14, 18, 26, 38, 39, 41 of chip PU2, when the laptop is turned on.

The board is cleaned and all corroded components are replaced.
The measurements on PU2 is as the following :
9=5v
12=19.7v
13=5v
14=4.5v
18=5.1v
26=4.5v
38=1v
39=4.9v but the board do a restart once i touch the pin with the multimeter probe
41=3.2v

Measure the power consumption (in mA) of the board, when the laptop is turned on with old (original) and with new BIOS.

The power consumption is the same with new and original bios files (138 mA) and the CPU is warming up.
The board starts automatically when the adapter plugged in and when I long press the power button it turns off then automatically on again

It seems that the communication between KBC and PCH part of the APU hybrid is missing.

Please, post a clear pictures of spilled area of the board after cleaning.

Measure the voltages to ground on all pins of transistor Q16, when the laptop is turned on.

Voltage on Q16 is 3.3v in all pins.

The voltages seems ok.
PU28 is not present on your board?

Perform the following measurements with connected RTC battery only (without connected power supply and main battery).
Measure the voltages to ground on both pins of quartz Y2.
Measure the voltage to ground on pin 68 of KBC chip.
Measure the voltage on capacitors C673, C1023.

PU28 is not present.
Voltage on Y2=0.38v on both pins
Pin 68=2.8v
C673=2.8v
C1023=2.8v

Was the board also spilled on KBC chip?
If so, remove the KBC chip from the board and check the copper paths under it. Also clean the spill residues between pins of KBC chip, if present.

No damage under the KBC and all pins soldiered correctly without any corrosion between the pins. I think it is time to give up this repair. Thanks a lot man. I appreciate your help.
