ASRock AM1B-ITX Rev1.02 not working

  1. Naslov teme mora vsebovati: proizvajalca naprave, poln model in kratek opis okvare.

Lahko objavite le majhen del navodil/shem, ali povezavo na BIOS datoteko v podforumu NEVERIFICIRANE DATOTEKE BIOS/EFI. V eni temi ne smete objaviti več kot eno stran navodil/shem. Datoteka ne sme vsebovati vidnih žigov "zaupno",, e-poštnih naslovov ipd.
  5. V eni temi lahko opišete SAMO eno napravo. Za vsako drugo okvarjeno napravo morate odpreti novo temo.
  6. Zahteve za sheme, boardview, fotografije matičnih plošč, datoteke BIOS-a ali servisne priročnike za storitve NISO DOVOLJENE. Če želite vprašati za katero koli od teh, odprite novo temo v podforumu ZAHTEVA ZA DOKUMENTACIJO & DATOTEKO BIOS/EFI.
 Ta tema je označena kot ARHIVSKA. Odgovorite samo, če vaše sporočilo vsebuje rešitev (Pravila in Pogoji, 12.1).

Hello every one.

Please can some one help me with this board, ASRock AM1B-ITX Rev1.02

Make and model: ASRock AM1B-ITX
PCB marking code (with PCB revision): Rev1.02

Major ICs' markings:
CPU: AMD Sempron 3850 Quad-Core
GPU: Integrated in CPU
EC/KBC/SMC: NUVOTON NTC6776D
BIOS IC1/BIOS: W25q32 = 4MB / Bios rev.1.60

I flashed new bios version from this forum but the board is still not working.
I assumed that board has corrupted bios so i flashed latest working version on it.
On my board was version 1.50(on sticker), now it is 1.60.
Boards problem is, that it powers on, but no image is coming out, from any of the ports (HDMI,DVI,VGA),
no error beeps, nothing.
This board was a gift for me without a CPU and RAM,
I have AMD Sempron 3850 added to it(which is brand new) ,which has integrated graphic, tried to put PCIe vga card on it but no effect.
Also added 3GB DDR3 RAM which i pulled from my working machine.
So RAM and CPU are 100% working. So the problem is on the board it self.
I also measured all voltages on board, and they seems to be ok.

Can someone help me?

I am thinking to replace the KBC "NCT6776D".

What you thinking about it?

I have updated the file here: bios-asrock-am1b-itx-rev-1-02-t53908.html - please download it again, extract a "file.bin" file and flash it. Check the results.

Well it is the same, no change.
In my opinion it is the NCT6776D, there is nothing else on the board.
Board powers up and nothing happens, i tried all outputs HDMI,DVI,VGA.
Or if you have some clue which voltage should be present and where , i will measure it.

Did you try switching MB on without RAM installed (only CPU)? Does it indicate RAM detection problem then?

Yes, it gives no alarm beeps, board can be switched on and off.
I have read in user manual that it gives error code beeps, but here is nothing.

I hope you have a system speaker connected to a 4-pin header? If yes, it may be worth to check another CPU as the POST procedure does not start here, and NCT6776 has nothing to do with that. However, if it's physically faulty, it may prevent CPU from code executing.

Yes i have system speaker connected to a 4-pin header( i am not an idiot). And the CPU is brand new. I buy it 10 days ago.
Ok so how to check if the NCT6776 faulty or not. I have downloaded datasheet for this IO. Tomorrow i will try some measurements with my oscilloscope.
