HP G62 (white screen) foxconn PM_A_HPC_S Safina motherboard

Hi guys,

We started working on this laptop few days ago. It had no image and we replaced the GPU with a new one. Now the system provides image to external monitor but is white in the internal.

Can you please advise? We have the schematics, but not the boardview file for this one to do some more in depth checks.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Zmierz napięcia na pinach 1, 2, 3 CON1 (złącza matrycy).

Measure the voltage on pins 1, 2, 3 CON1 (LVDS connector).

thank you for your reply!

I measured 2.2V instead of 3.3V and I had to remove the mosfet (no spare at the moment) and give directly Source=>Drain the necessary 3.3V (3V_S0).

Now the LCD works properly when the laptop is turned on

If one of these tensions is DLVDS_VCC_EN or ULVDS_VCC_EN connect the resistance to power the gate QB3A.
See the area in the green circle.

the enable signal (at gate) was present but the mosfet was not opening properly. so I had to circumvent it by bridging S-D.

Wrong way! Please measure the voltage (reference to ground) on the gate of QB2. Before that, remove the D-S short.

It also measures the voltages on all of QB3 pin to identify the component to be present replace.
The bridge must not remain on QB2.
