Acer Aspire 6920G se reinicia/Acer Aspire 6920G it is restarted

Al iniciar el Recovery bien del HDD o de los CD creados, cuando está iniciando el proceso y antes de la pantalla de bienvenida, se apaga y se vuelve a encender solo y en algunas ocasiones se queda con la barra de progreso congelada. He probado con discos de instalación de windows 7 y 8, siendo el resultado el mismo.
Con XP, me permite iniciar la instalación pero cuando va por 34 min."instalación de dispositivos" se queda congelado el proceso y se cuelga. Incluso sin el HDD, iniciando con el CD de win7 por ejemplo, también se apaga y vuelve a iniciar solo.

He probado a actualizar la Bios a su última versión, quitar la lectora y hacer la instalación de una externa, cambio de memorias y CPU, desmontar el portátil y quitar todos los flexs y conexiones de dispositivos, Wifi, TouchPad, teclado, USB, etc... a falta de los que son integrados de la propia placa.

Lleva una placa base 6050A2184401-MB-A02. Ha primera vista me he dado cuenta que lleva un NEC/Tokin (C47) 900uf 2,5V y, si no recuerdo mal en los toshiba hay un problema similar en el cual el causante principal es éste mismo.
Buscando en foros encontré un post, en el que indica que colocando un condensador en paralelo, podemos descartar al tokin.
Le he colocado uno de 3300uF 6,3v pero el problema persiste.

Haciendo pruebas, el DVD recovery permite arrancar la preinstalación en modo seguro. De esa forma, si me permite la carga, por lo que deduzco, es algún dispositivo integrado el que hace que en algunas ocasiones bloquee y otras se apague para empezar de cero.

Tras seguir comprobando el cristal X3 en estado S0 oscila a 15khz aprox. y en sus patillas 1 y 4 tengo unos valores de tensión de 0,48V y 0,65V. Si la medición la realizo en reposo, tengo 0,19V y 0,15V.
El cristal lo he cambiado, pero sigue igual.... Puede ser U8 o es más probable una fuga en esos condensadores?

Creo que el puente sur (U8) está dañado pero necesito confirmarlo. He tomado las siguientes mediciones:
R254 1.-(+V_RTC)=3,27V 2.-(AD22)=2,1V
C169 (AF23)=3,26V
X3 1.-(AF24)=0,36V 2.-(AG25)=0,39V
R255 (AD21)=2,66V
R258 (AF25)=2,60V

Midiendo la frecuencia de X3 con el frecuencímetro tengo:
pin1= 14,5KHZ-15,5KHZ inestable
pin2= 16Khz

X3, C167 y C168 ya han sido cambiados.

He intentado un cortocircuito en C169 pero sin éxito.

La CPU ha sido limpiada y probada otra CPU.
U504 pin6 = 2,45V - 2,50V
Q511 pin1 = 3,28V
Q512 pin3 = 5,13V

El ventilador trabaja bien, sin ningún problema.
U8 tiene una temperatura normal, aproximadamente 40 ºC.

El fallo puede venir relacionado con la carga de algún driver. Yo puedo arrancar disco recuperación en modo seguro sin ningún problema. También puedo entrar en Bios todo el tiempo necesario. Si escojo la opción de "deshabilitar reinicio automático...", el equipo hace el mismo síntoma. Se apaga quedando únicamente encendida el led power e inicia automáticamente de nuevo el sistema (un reinicio pero con apagado). En alguna ocasión se queda congelada la barra de progreso y hay que mantener power pulsado 5 segundos para apagar.

The failure can come related to the load of some driver. I can start disc recovery in sure way without any problem. Also I can enter Bios all the necessary time. If I choose the option of " disabling automatic restart ... ", the equipment does the same symptom. It goes out remaining only flushed the led power and it initiates automatically again the system (a restart but with extinguished). In some occasion the bar of progress remains frozen and it is necessary to support power touched 5 seconds to extinguish.

try booting from CD / DVD with Linux live

He probado con Linux LiveCD (UBUNTU) y hace el mismo síntoma. También he probado con Hiren´s Boot CD.
Durante el inicio, cuando sucede el fallo, por 1 segundo el led power también se apaga quedando sin nada de alimentación, y luego se reestablece para quedar en standby. Adjunto grabación de la carga Linux live CD sin HDD.

¿La frecuencia X3 puede ser causante de ese fallo?

I have tried with Linux LiveCD (UBUNTU) and it does the same symptom. Also I have proved with Hiren's Boot CD. During the beginning, when the failure happens, in 1 second the led power also goes out staying without anything of supply, and then it is re-established to stay in standby. I attach recording of the load Linux live CD without HDD.

Can the frequency X3 be a causer of this failure?

Ok, voy a quitar el nec Tokin y lo voy a sustituir por 4 condensadores de 330uf. Aprovechando la ocasión, y ante la necesidad de disponer de un osciloscopio, ¿que te parece el Osciloscopio PROMAX OD 204-B, para comprarlo de segunda mano por unos 100€?

Bien, he quitado el nec tokin y ha sido sustituido por los 4 condensadores de 330. El pórtatil ya no se apaga en ese punto, y parece trabajar bien. Al parecer ese era el problema. Voy a renovar silicona térmica y a montar para hacer el recovery. En cuanto, lo haga y compruebe te comento.
