Takie małe pojemności pendrive zwykle oznaczają problem z kontrolerem. Wtedy jest możliwość odzyskania danych bezpośrednio z modułu pamięci, z pominieciem kontrolera. Po odczycie dumpa trzeba zbudować wirtualny kontroler emulujący pracę układu aby poskładać dane w całość.
