LG XA16 - Wymiana lesera, niby czyta ale jednak nie.

Dostałem na stół mikro wieżę LG XA16 a problemem nie czytania żadnych płyt. Postawiłem na uszkodzony laser i nabyłem nowy (model SOH-AAV). Po wymianie wygląda to tak:
- większości płyt wieża dalej nie czyta
- niektóre zaczęła odtwarzać bez problemu (naprawdę nieliczne)
- są też takie przy których niby odczyta płytę ale nic nie odtwarza tylko przeskakuje na kolejne utwory.

Mam 2 pytania:
- czy szukać innej wady poza laserem a jeśli tak to gdzie?
- czy takie zachowanie nowego lasera kwalifikuje go do zwrotu/wymiany?

It seems to me, the laser was replaced with a new cheap one.
There are a lot of new lasers available in the market at a very low price (less than 40PLN), but all of these are low quality counterfeits in my opinion. The new genuine lasers usually costs around 140-200PLN, so it is clear that the counterfeits for 40PLN or even less can't work as it should.

Sometimes a low-cost fakes even work, but it mostly depends on luck.
I think, you should replace the laser again with a better one.

Could you please advise me some good quality replacement for this SOH-AAV? On another forum I found information that they can be: SOH-AAF, SOH-AAU or even KSS213. However, they all come at similar prices. So are they the same poor quality as mine?

I haven't tried to replace this laser with any of the listed ones, so I don't know, if these replacements really works.
However, I don't recommend the replacement KSS-213, because this is one of the most widely used lasers for which there are the most low-quality counterfeits in my opinion.

I don't know, how to identify the low-quality counterfeits, but I think the most reliable indicator is a slightly higher price, which is not lower than for example 70 PLN.

For example the laser SOH-AAV is available on Ebay for a bit more "trustworthy" price (unfortunately from China).

Unfortunately, in Poland, the prices in different stores are very similar to each other, so I suspect that everything comes from one source - China. Therefore, I do not have much to choose from, depending on the price.

You provide info about all mechanisms. I bought the head itself, which is also 100% from China, and it cost me PLN 50



And it ended this way. That is why I am thinking of returning this thing and acquiring another. Maybe I can hit a good one at some point.

I replaced the laser I had bought with a new one, but the symptoms were the same. I wanted to replace it again, this time the entire head together with the mechanics, but the owner of this LG said that there is no point in wasting time and money on repairing equipment of this class. He bought something new and left this XA16 for parts.

In fact, everything except the CD works (radio, USB and BT) so I will find someone who will need it as it is.
