HP 17-BY0617NG

17" KBL-6L
SPS: L22742-601
CPU: SR3LA
GPU: 216-0890010

Podejrzewam uszkodzenie procesora.
Hello!
Yes, in such a case it's a very high probability the APU hybrid is damaged.

Try to reflash the BIOS chip. Don't forget to save the old dump. If it doesn't change anything, try to replace the APU power supply controller chip U66000. If it still doesn't change anything, the APU is damaged.

By the way, the missing power rail is PVCCGT (not PVCSGT).
And the motherboard marking code is SNAPE-6050A2982701-MB-A02(A2) 6L

I forgot to mention. I reflashed BIOS and EC with Me-cleared firmware extracted from update package. U66000 also was replaced. I think it is over.

Thanks mate!

Jakieś sugestie co można by jeszcze sprawdzić?

Measure the voltage to ground on pin 38 of chip U66000.

3.06V for the exact same time of 0.26a consumption.
Voltage on PVCORE - 0.85v

Try to reflash the BIOS chip again with the old (original) dump.

Original dump with fresh me, same behavior.

Because this current drop looks like forced shutdown (from 0.25A to 10mA) I tried new EC with original and even fresh dump - still no luck.

Any ideas?
