Wklejam kawalek tematu z forum super sprzedawcow na eBay UK. To wlasnie kierunek w ktorym zmierza nasze allegro, niestety.
Co jakis czas wkleje jakas historyjke. Oczywiscie wszystko po angielsku.

how long has buyer got to open a not as described case?

correct me if i am wrong here.. but i always thought it was 45 days? or even under the new ebay resolution centre it maybe be 60 days?

i was looking through my cases in the resolution centre and i have one more than is permitted under the new rules coming in September...

the case that is stopping me getting TRS in September is, from an item sold 6th September 2009

basically.. the customer bought a tv, and a couple of months later it developed a small fault (these things happen sometimes) .. so we offered to arrange/pay for a local manufacturer approved dealer to visit the customer and carry out the repair (only a small adjustment), as the tv was under warranty for 2 years...

the customer refused point blank, and said they wanted a full refund.. we refused, as it was outside of our 21day return period, and under the DSR/ sale of goods act we were entitled to repair minor faults.

anyway on the 12th November they opened a significantly not as described case, which paypal, refused as it was over 45 days.. so then they went to the ebay resolution centre and opened a case... which we politely offered a repair at anytime totally at our expense, but refused a full refund.

so we left the customer with a repair authorisation code for the local approved repair agent that they could use any time, and said sorry we could not do more...

ebay in there wisdom gave the customer a "no fault refund"! and let the customer keep the £500 tv

now it appears on our "opened cases" and on our "seller unresolved cases"... even though we played it completely as any business would do

sale date: 6/9/09 dispute date 12/11/09 = 68days!!

surely outside the time frame for opening a dispute???

also after ebay paid them out the £500.. we did check with the local philips service centre, and guess what the customer used our authorisation code, and got the tv repaired at our expense, plus pocketed £500 from ebay

Chociaz z drugiej strony...
Zdarzaja sie gorsze sytuacje :)
