ASUS TUF A16 (FA617-PMV-GBM) - POSTing but no display Internal or External

I have an ASUS TUF A16 laptop board number FA617-PMV-GBM / 6050A3460902-MB-A02. The problem is there is no display. The laptop will post, i can toggle the caps lock key on/off and the keyboard backlight is on, the fans are spinning, but there is no display on the internal screen or through the HDMI out to an external monitor. I have replaced the screen and still no change. I suspect it is probably a GPU or VRAM issue, but wanted to fully confirm if anybody can help, thank you.

I have taken resistance measurements of all coils in the picture.

Is this motherboard marking code correct?

Measure the power consumption (in mA) of the board, when the machine is turned on with and without RAM memory connected.

There is also this code on the board "FA617-PMV-GBM"

After looking i can not find the right adapter tip for this laptop to connect to the lab power supply. I have nearly 30 tips and not the right one.

You can toggle the caps lock key on/off after several seconds after pressing the power button.

Please check that you rewrite this number from the board correctly.

- Measure the voltages to ground on pins 1, 2, 3, 6, 9, 24, 29, 32, 33, 34, 42, 43, 55, 56, 57, 58 of chip U3052 with the internal matrix connected.

- Measure the voltages to ground on pins 16, 19, 49 of chip U3052 in the following cases:
a) Internal matrix connected.
b) Internal matrix disconnected.

Measure the voltages to ground on pins 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, 10, 11, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 37, 40 of LVDS connector CN3000 with the internal matrix connected. Pin 1 is near the LAN port.

Set your multimeter to the diode test mode and measure the voltage drops to ground on pins 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 37 of LVDS connector CN3000 with the positive (red) probe connected to the ground.
The measurements must be taken with the power supply and main battery disconnected from the board.

Test the matrix in another laptop to make 100% sure it works. If the matrix is fine, check/replace the LVDS cable.

Would it be sufficient to test the LVDS cable by checking continuity of each pin from the display connector CN3000 to the screen panel connector?

The original screen is N160JME-GE1 165Hz

I have a couple of spare 16" 40pin screens, would it be possible to test with one of these? The second one looks similar but has a different refresh rate

There is no 100% sure method to test the LVDS cable with a multimeter, but you can try.

There are several pins from the connector CN3000 that dont have continuity with the screen connector but if it is not a 100% sure method to test, i have found a replacement cable to order, will most likely take the week to arrive.

I received the replacement display cable today, and after fitting it there is still no change.

No display, but the laptop can toggle the caps lock key and responds to the power button to turn off.
