So I got this Projector because some company wanted to throw it away as it just won't turn on when pressing the power button.
Here are my observations:
I'm a beginner, so it would be nice to know where to start measuring/looking. I accidentally touched a big transistor while trying to measure some voltage, which wasn't a pleasure.
So before I hurt myself further, I thought I'd ask for help.
Here are my observations:
- - The red power LED is always on and (only sometimes) the red LEDs for lamp and temp also light up.
- When the lamp and temp LEDs light up, they don't light up consistently and seem to flicker at a high rate (around 50Hz).
- The flickering makes the LEDs appear dimmer than expected.
- The projector has suddenly worked at some point, but it kept crashing when I tried watching a movie on it.
- I was able to figure out that the lamp was in use for about 5 hours from the menu.
- Now it's back to the power LED on but no response.
- Whenever it crashed, it was immediate, meaning the whole thing was instantly without power. I didn't touch it when that happened.
- Visibly, there is no damage on the PCBs or any other part.
