The damage on this diode is usually related to an inadequate power supply - the customer probably connected a power supply with too high rated voltage, or a power supply with a reversed polarity.
- Measure the voltages to ground on pins 1, 4, 5 of charger chip PU3.
- Measure the voltages to ground on coils PL2, PL5, PL6, PL8.

Pobór prądu z zasilacza 0V - jak to możliwe skoro napięcia jakieś występują??
Korzystam z boardview rev D
Jeden laptop odpalił i działa. Drugi ładuje baterię (1,4A pobór), napięcia te co wyżej (#5), ale nie reaguje na włącznik, świeci jedynie dioda ładowania baterii. Przy naciśnięciu SW3 na chwilę pobór z zasilacza spada do 0V, gdy nie naciskam ładuje baterię. Na kości biosu szczątkowe napięcia, na 8 nóżce brak. Przy odłączonej baterii pobór 0V.

So, bridge the switch SW3 and then connect the battery and power supply. Check if the machine responds to pressing on the power button after that.

Niestety nie, właśnie mam go przed sobą. Napięcie spada do 0V z 3,3V przy naciśnięciu oczywiście, ale nic się nie dzieje poza tym. Czy uszkodzony wsad może być przyczyną, że nie startuje? Napięcie na kości BIOS pojawia się dopiero po naciśnięciu włącznika w działającym laptopie, więc wszystkie napięcia są identyczne. Podłączę pod drugą klawiaturę z włącznikiem...
