ACEPC GK3V Mini PC - wentylator nie kręci się (brak 5V)

Cześć wszystkim,

mam ciekawy i wydawać się może prosty problem z nijakim Mini PC model GK3V firmy ACEPC (GK1_V24, 2020.11.04).

Urządzenie działa tylko się grzeje, gdyż wiatrak stoi w miejscu, a z pewnością jest sprawny bo podłączałem go pod 5V z USB.
Na nóżkach złącza brakuje 5V.
Obok jest tranzystor 30V P-channel NP3401VR który między drenem(+), a źródłem(-) ma 0.453V, między drenem(+), a bramką(-) ma 3V w teście diody.

Measure the voltages to ground on all pins of this transistor.

Gate and source are 5V, drains is 0.17V

Please, post a clear picture with visible copper traces on the highlighted area of the board.

I measured both

Measure the resistances to ground on points A, B and C.

The control signal that opens this transistor is missing. It most likely comes from the KBC (SIO) chip.
Try to reflash the BIOS chip. Don't forget to save the old dump. If it doesn't change anything, replace the KBC (SIO) chip.

we have three problems...
First: Main site of ACEPC doesen't work so I don't have any BIOS for this device...
Second: I have CH341 programmer for 3.3V without 1.8V additional board - chip is based on 1.8V ;(
Third: Professional programmer Dediprog SF100 (from my friend) can't see Gigadevice GD25LB64C chip

Probably I will must buy 1.8V board for CH341...

You can build a simple version of the 1.8V adapter: ***Click***
Or invest in some better programmer - for example XGecu TL866II Plus

I bought 1.8V adapter for CH341. Unfortunately 4 pin of chip Gigadevice 25LB64C was broken (shitty SOP8 mechanical adapter blocked one pin)...
Next I was bought on Ali substitute for Gigadevice 64Mb/1.8V -> Winbond W25Q64FW. I received five chips - probably they were used...
Finally after few attempts chips has been programed but ACEPC doesn't working...
When I plug in 12V, blue LED is light up. All measures of voltage are ok. Don't see anything on display.

I think it's cause other parameters of chip Winbond...

Gigadevice are not available in Ali and other sites...

I found GD25LQ64CVIG - the same parameters like 25LB64C <3

I'm confident about poor quality used Winbond's chips - program was freezing sometimes on reading/verifing/programming/erasing etc. All of chips wasn't delivered in blister but in string bag. After erased and next verified offsets had a lot of random values.
Now I'm waiting for Gigadevice GD25LQ64CVIG chips

I just recevied substitute (GD25LQ64CVIG) of original bios chip Gigadevice 25LB64C and it's working with my dump bios but I don't find either newest nor earlier bios version...

I think about workaround to soldering 5V to fan from other places. Any ideas?
From one of USB it will be good but ever fan will be spinning (even in S5 state (only plug out power supply could stop spinning).

Open a new topic in "ZAPYTANIA O DOKUMENTACJE/BIOS" department and ask for the BIOS dump. Don't forget to specify the major ICs markings according to the rules.

I'm in communication with representative person (admin) of this and other similar mini PCs from forum minipcunion.

They don't have other bios file... Probably only one (mine) is/was available.

So, what u think about WA (workaround) - connect to voltage from other place in motherboard to pin of fan?

I think about workaround to soldering 5V to fan from other places. Any ideas?

It's hard to find a suitable point on the motherboard to connect the fan without the board documentation.

Measure the voltage to ground on pin 8 of BIOS chip. Is it present all the time, or it appears only after pressing to the power button?

1.8V is current all time

Measure the voltage to ground on coil "1R0" located near the RAM memory chips. Check, if the voltage on this coil is present only when the machine is turned on.

Voltage on 1R0 is occurs only when device is turned on.
I have noticed weird situation. When i plug in power cable, device is turn on by itself. After turned off by button I can't turn on by the same power button.
