Hello everyone,

I've been looking for a laptop schematic to fix an HP 550 with a backlight problem (I found out it is lacking 3.3 volts on one of the pins on the LCD plug, but I can't find the next component in line) and I found this forum when looking through google.

I have a small laptop repair business but I rarely do any component level repair on motherboards. I want to, so Im learning how to do it.
Looking around this forum I found this great thread:

viewtopic.php?f=232&t=986

It has a lot of very useful information for me, but I have to read it through google translate. A lot of information gets messed up that way.

So, my question is - Does anyone know of a forum like this one, but in english? I know there are plenty of genrric eletronics forums out there, but I havent found a good one that specifically focuses on laptop repair in this way yet.

I wish this one was in English, I think learning to read Polish may be a bit too much work :(
